Alovera is a cactus plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. This grows in dry environments such as those found in parts of Africa and India and has been used medicinally for centuries. Aloe Vera leaves cover a clear gel that is broken off from the base of the plant that can be applied topically to heal wounds and smooth skin. Many investigations have been conducted to examine the benefits of the aloe vera plant and it was found out that aloe vera does, in fact, have several properties that are useful in treating a variety of dry skin, skin conditions, from flaky or hair and scalp, cosmetic ailments, problems to many more. That is also related to being useful in treating wounds and burns, cysts, diabetes, minor skin infections, and elevated blood lipids in humans, and shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, genital herpes, dandruff, canker sores, skin ulcers, psoriasis, and others.
